Abstract Highland Lake, MD, Homeowners Association considered replacing deteriorated corrugated metal spillway of an earthen dam. This type of structure had reached the end of its useful life. This case history presents an existing application where a deteriorated metal pipe was rehabilitated using Snap-Tite pipe for sliplining.
The earthen dam had a corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert that was deteriorating and presented a costly dilemma. Conventional methods were expensive and time consuming. There was a need to evaluate a less costly alternative repair method.
